When you have settled in to your accommodation why not use your vehicle rental to tour some of the scenic locations or tourist attractions of offer in Lanzarote. You could visit the Timanfay National Park, which is an area of outstanding natural beauty. Here you can visit the unique lava scape. Admission to the Park costs €8 and this includes free parking and a coach tour around the park. Whilst here why not visit the El Diablo restaurant and appreciate the lunar style landscape from this high vantage point.

You could also visit the Jameos Del Agula. This is an amazing site with its immense collapsed lava tube transformed in a beautiful subterranean auditorium. The great Cesar Manrique created this in the 1960’s. It has an abundance of tropical gardens, bars and restaurants all located within this beautifully created wonderland.

Near here are the Cueva de los Verdes that has one of the longest volcanic tunnels in the world, which extends to 6km. This was formed when Montan La Coruna erupted over 3000 years ago. Local people used to hide here when pirates who liked to use the island to store their treasures were attacking them.
