Situated on the West Coast of America San Francisco Airport is a perfect location to collect your vehicle rental from. Due to its size then a hire car through TWT is the best way for you to get to see San Francisco and also Oakland.

To the North of San Francisco you can visit the National Parks of Golden Gate, Mt Tampalpais State Park or the Point Reyes National Seashore. All of these locations offer peace and tranquillity for the visitor. Why not explore the area on foot of take a horse ride along its coastal paths. Both are a great way to appreciate the West coast of California.

Heading back into San Francisco over the infamous Golden gate bridge you can appreciate the vastness of the City. Why not drive down the famous rolling hills of San Francisco like in the movie “Bullitt” with Steve McQueen (just don’t go as fast in your hire car!) or travel down the winding street of Lombard Street as long as your TWT hire vehicle is not to large for its twists and turns.

If its the main tourist attractions that you are after the you should visit Pier 39 for its shops and its history and then may be take a trip to Alcatraz Island to visit the former prison and appreciate its history. If its your second visit and you have seen these locations then you may wish to visit some of the less touristy locations and see deeper into San Francisco life and culture. Why not visit the Mission Dolores Basilica, located 3321 Sixteenth Street, the mission is a beautiful piece of architecture and is the oldest building in San Francisco built around 1776 and is a very important part in local community life with San Francisco.
