When do i get confirmation of my reservation ?

After you have entered your credit card details.the online system will automatically send you an email confirming  your reservation request.
We will then send you an online voucher which will be sent to you within 72 hours.
If you do not receive your confirmation email please contact us straight away.
If after 72 hours you do not receive your voucher please contact us
It is important to enter your correct telephone number and email address.

What do i need to take with me when collecting my rental vehicle ?

The voucher will include your pick up and drop off details ,supplier contract and reservation number. This must be printed and handed over to the car hire desk .
You also need to present a full  clean and valid driving license along with a credit card.
Your credit card will be used to take a security deposit by the car supplier. You must have funds available on the card. The amount debited will vary from country , Location ,supplier and type of vehicle .
If you return the vehicle in the same condition as when you collected your card will be refunded . Debit cards are not accepted.


What sort of driving license do i need when driving abroad ?

All European ,US and Eu countries will accept the normal uk driving license .it must have a valid end date and no endorsements for drink or drug related offences .
If you have the new Uk photo license you must carry the paper license which comes with it. 
If you Fail to present a valid license this will invalidate your rental and unfortunately no refund will be available to you 
 Photocopies and faxed copies are not acceptable it has to be an original license.
If your rental is outside of the areas mentioned above please refer to the RAC  as you may require an IDP International driving permit to accompany your Uk license


Do i need to contact anyone if my flight is delayed ?

If you are collecting a vehicle from an airport location and your flight is delayed as long as you have given us your correct flight number your car rental supplier will have access to airport arrival times and will attend the rental desk accordingly. Most airport rental locations are  open between the hours of 0700 and 2300 . Please refer to your voucher for opening times .There may be an out of hours charge payable locally if you arrive after the normal opening times.
Unfortunately twtcarrental has no control over these charges.


How old do i have to be to rent a vehicle ? 

Each country has a different policy on minimum and maximum ages. If you are over 25 and under 70 you are ok to rent a vehicle  in every country.
If you are under 25 and over 21 please contact us before making a reservation as there may be an additional fee payable locally 
If you are over 70 please also  contact us
 

What happens if i have an accident or  breakdown ?


In the event of an accident you must contact the local car supplier immediately .Their number will be supplied on the rental agreement that you would have been given when collecting your vehicle.The local car rental supplier will advise you exactly what to do or arrange for breakdown recovery in the event of a serious accident.
If you have had an accident take down any particulars of the other driver and ensure that you give the car rental companies details to them for insurance purposes.
It is a legal requirement to report the incident to the local police and  we at twtcarrental.co.uk will require a police report in the event of reclaiming your damage excess. (see terms and conditions)
Take pictures if you can as this will always assist in the event of insurance litigation.

We have tried to make our online car rental system as quick,informative  and above all secure and simple.
